Music Player (Remix) has many features that Palm's stock music app has left out.

For the first ever WebOS app of the week, I have chosen the homebrew app, Music Player (Remix).  This app, created by PreCentral user Danplc,   is the most widely downloaded hombrew app out there, and for good reason.  It takes Palm’s stock music app, and gives it the features that is was missing, such as bookmarking a song, a slider to skip ahead in a song, the ability to make flylists, you tube searches of artists, and lyric look-ups of teh current song, and many more enhancements I can’t even count.  While Palm should have put these functionality in their music player app in the first place, it’s nice to see a WebOS user take matters into his or her own hands.  For more information on Music Player (Remix), and how to prep your phone for homebrewing, be sure to check out PreCentral.
