We got our hands on Google Chrome OS
We got our hands on Google Chrome OS and are right now putting it on a virtual machine. We’ll have specs and some first looks, up soon, and of course we are going to try to answer the most important question, what happens when you go offline. Right now it is available as a VMWare (or Virtual Box) download for all but it must be put in a virtual machine running atop Windows, Mac OSX, or Linux. We will be putting up a hands on review later today.
Update: I, a proponent of Virtual Box, downloaded the Virtual Box Chrome OS download and installed it and I couldn’t get it to work. I will try to install it later today on my Windows side but as of now I could not get it working on my Mac Snow Leopard side. Also, as Matthew will post in his hands on review, you must be connected to the internet it you can’t boot up at all. Well, you can boot up, but you can’t log on.
For now we’ll leave you with this screenshot:

How long has this blog been around? I have been searching for this kind of information for the past week and a half.
