Google Wave’s Sea is Calm
Google Wave. We all know about it, but what do we do with it? I can tell you my answer: nothing. I have used Wave, but only right after I got my invite, much like a child will use a new toy for a few days, and then put it in the pile of his other toys, almost as if nothing happened. The way I see it, the problem with Wave isn’t wave itself, but how they’re pushing it.
Email was invented over 40 years ago. We thought, ‘What if email was invented today? What would it look like? What would it do?’ We came up with Google Wave.
I was paraphrasing there, but you get the idea. I have multiple email accounts. I’m content. There is absolutely no reason Google is giving me to switch from Google Mail (Gmail) to Google Wave. There will be a day where Google Wave will gain in popularity, much as a tsunami builds in height as it nears the shore. However, right now, Google Wave is in its infancy, and it’s a small, little tsunami rolling along, getting ready to grow. One day, Wave might even surpass email as the defacto way to communicate, and Google will further tie themselves to our lives.
Do you use Google Wave? If so, tell us how? Leave a comment, email us, or tweet us @techtrackr.

I agree… haven't used wave (except for one time) after the first week. I think part of this is b/c I haven't handed out my invites to friends.
