Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get out to San Francisco for Apple’s big OS 4 announcement earlier today. But, we’re still here to give you a concise recap of what went down.
Steve announced some pretty amazing statistics:

As of this morning, Apple’s sold 450,000 iPads (300,000 on Saturday alone)
600,000 books were sold in the iBooks estore [...]

What do we have here? Hmm… looks like it’s an internal document from HP that highlights the company’s anticipated Slate device.
Regardless of what other techies are saying, I just don’t see the Slate as a threat to the iPad. By the time the Slate actually comes out (rumored June launch), Apple will have already sold [...]
